Herbert Krapa Tipped To Replace Alan Kyeremanteng As Trade Minister

We are still a couple of years away from the 2024 general elections but expectation are already high for those nursing hopes of running for president while holding public office in this current regime to step down with pressure already being mounted for them to relinquish their office.

Marry this with a report from a source that trade minister Alan Kyeremanteng is set to resign from his office as trade minister in June 2022 as he is one who has not hidden his desire to run for president if the NPP gives him the nod to lead the party to the 2024 general elections their primaries. That same source has it that one of the deputies to the Trade Minister, Herbert Krapa is in line for a promotion as he has been tipped to be the one to fill the void set to be left by Alan Kyeremanteng.

Alan Kyeremanteng is one of the NPP’s stalwart who has made public his desire to contest for the flagbearership of the party with bookies having him as one of the favourites in the race for the NPP flagbearership and with notice already served by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to his appointees interested in contesting for the flagbearership of the party to step down and concentrate on the race, Alan Kyeremanteng is set to do just that. And though there are two deputies to the Trade Minister, in the persons of Herbert Krapa and Michael Okyere-Baafi, our source have revealed with authority that Herbert Krapa will be the president’s choice to replace the outgoing Trade Minister.
