Bawumia Presents 150 Vehicles To Senior High Schools In Governments Investment In Education

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia today presented 150 vehicles to a number of Senior High Schools in the country in line with Akufo-Addo and his Government’s solemn pledge “to provide the necessary logistics to ensure access to quality education for Ghana’s youth.

“The vehicles which comprised of a 100 buses and 50 pickup trucks according to the vice-president is the “latest provision of vehicles form part of a broader, ongoing effort by government, through the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) and other stakeholders, to not only increase access to education for every Ghanaian child, but also provide the necessary infrastructure and logistics to create a conducive environment for teaching and learning.”

Images of the Bawumia’s presentation of the vehicles was put on his facebook page with a message of the Government’s commitment to expanding education infrastructure and continuing to invest heavily in the sector.”I presented 150 vehicles to a number of Senior High Schools in the continued fulfilment of a pledge by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to provide the necessary logistics to ensure access to quality education for Ghana’s youth.”

“I underscored the importance of an efficient transportation system in the education sector, particularly in light of the flagship Free Senior High School programme, and pledged Government’s commitment to doing even more.”
