Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Livingstone Satekla, popularly known in the music industry as Stonebwoy is proving to be an avid fan of football and a passionate supporter of the Black Stars if his recent comments are anything to go by.
Stonebwoy has advised that Kevin-Prince Boateng desist from openly expressing to represent Black Stars as it is the believe of Stonebwoy that a player of Kevin’s stature should have his name recorded first on the Black Stars team sheet.
The musician’s comments are in response to the player’s revelation that he is looking forward for a call up to represent the nation once more.
Kevin-Prince Boateng who is currently at the twilight of his career represented the nations proudly at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and earned another call up to represent the nation again at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and in both occasions the former AC Milan player did Ghana proud.
He now plays for Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga but has not been called up to the national team after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil but has been equivocal in his desire to play again for the Black Stars.
His demand for a call up to the National team has been at a crescendo recently following the poor showing of the Black Stars at the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Cameroon with the Black Stars booted out in the Group stages.
Stonebwoy responding to Kevin’s open expression of his desire to play for the Black Stars once more noted that he need not make a pitch for a national team call up as a player of his calibre should be the first name on the team sheet.
He wrote: “PURE KWRAAAAAH correct energetic striker like this must not beg to be called..”
