Lynx Entertainment signee and former Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of the Year, Kuami Eugene has advised that sometimes throwing in the towel is also an option and sometimes is even the best option to take for those who find it difficult to make it a the competitive music industry.
The two Lynx Entertainment signees, Kuami Eugene and Kidi are currently on a media tour ahead of their show set to come off at the O2 Arena Indigo in March and Kuami Eugene made this interesting assertion during an interview on Citi TV when a question about their view on upcoming or underground artistes in the industry.
According to the two musicians, Kuami Eugene and Kidi, sometimes making it in the music industry requires grace, which not many are blessed with, also noting that some even require more than grace to make it in the music industry.
They noted that talent is of utmost importance in their line of work but were quick to add that talent alone will not cut it for one in the industry as one would have to miss the talent up with hardwork, patience, respect and a whole lot if one hopes to grow within the industry.
He was however realistic enough to advise them to be realistic in their expectations in making it in the music industry, pointing out to them that just because others have made it does not mean they will also make it and so therefore the need to be reasonably optimistic in their expectation.
