Paul Adom Otchere’s Wife Set To Take Home GHC67,000 Following Her Presidential Appointment

The Otchere family are really reaping the rewards of their support for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his NPP Government.

Just months after Paul Adom Otchere was appointed by the president to chair the board of Ghana Airpots Company Limited, it is his family who is this time the recipient of a presidential appointment and her new appointment is sure to up the financial status of the Otchere family even further.

Madam Rosemary Beryl-Archer has been appointed by the President as Deputy Chief Executive in charge of Banking/Business of the Ghana Exim Bank.

Madam Rosemary Beryl-Archer headed the SME department and her new appointment comes as a huge promotion which puts her in line to take home GHC67,000 minus allowances that comes with the job.

Her new appointment letter is signed by Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare.

“Pursuant to Section 18(1) of the Ghana Export-Import Bank Act, 2016 (Act 911), the President has appointed you to act as the Deputy Chief Executive – Business/Banking of Ghana Export-Import Bank (the Bank), pending receipt of the constitutionally required advice of the governing board of the Bank, given in consultation with the Public Services Commission,” the letter said. 

Paul Adom Otchere who is the chairperson of the board of Ghana Airports Company limited is believed to have lobbied extensively for his wife to be appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive of Banking/Business of the Ghana Exim Bank, that not withstanding she boasts over 15 years experience working with the likes UMB, Access Bank and Fidelity Bank.
