Black Stars and Milovan Rajevac will surely be sweating over the fitness of Crystal Palace forward, Jordan Ayew following a knock he suffered clash with West Ham which ended in defeat to Crystal Palace.
Jordan Ayew was named man of the match in the defeat to the hammers on Saturday at the Selhurst Park as he left the pitch in tears after what appeared to be a hamstring injury.
The gravity of his injury is yet to be established as the Black Stars are waiting on medical reports from the medical team at Crystal Palace to see whether he can participate in the African Cup of Nations or their better off cutting their losses and looking for a replacement.
“I don’t know, I haven’t spoken to the doctor yet,” said manager Patrick Vieira in relation to Ayew’s injury.
Preparations for the AFCON seem to be going badly for the Black Stars as they continue to suffer set back after set back as Felix Afena-Gyan is a player to have turned down a Black Stars call-up and Friendlies to put the team in shape could not happen
