The argument over a lack of support from Nigerian artistes for Ghanaian artistes rages on with no signs of abating.
Each side is hellbent on proofing themselves right with a Nigeria blogger by name Japheth Joshua Omojuwa reiterating that Nigeria does not owe Ghanaian artistes any favours in promoting their songs as they have done more than enough for them already.
The Nigerian blogger in a series of tweets called out Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy for suggesting that Nigerian artistes do not do as much for Ghanaians artistes as they do for their Nigerian counterparts.
Naming checking Tic Tac, Reggie Rockstone, Sarkodie, R2bees etc, as Ghanaian artistes whose music have been shown great love and support in times past, he expressed bewilderment as to why Ghanaians would say Nigerian artistes do not promote their music.
“In recent memory, Tic Tac, Reggie Rockstone, Sarkodie, R2bees etc have enjoyed extensive airtime and collaboration from Nigerian radios, TV and acts. Shatta Wale and his latest inductee Stonebwoy need to do like the latter was looking to do it with Wizkid. Entitlement na disease”, he wrote in a tweet.
