The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has indicated that it has so far been able to see to the administration of eight (8) million corona virus vaccines since the outbreak of the pandemic in 2019.
According to reports from the Ghana Health Service a total of 8,458,155 have so far been administered across the country. Six million of that number, representing 31.4% have received at least a dose of the vaccine with a little over two million receiving a double dose of the vaccine.
The Ghana Health Service also cautioned that the county could be set to suffer a fourth wave of the corona virus pandemic.
“The country is beginning to record more cases of COVID-19 after an additional 1, 324 people were infected with the disease.”
