Adwoa Safo who is a Ghanaian law maker, member of parliament for Dome Kwabenya constituency and also doubles as the minister for Gender and social protection is reported to have been given an ultimatum to return to work or risk being removed from office.
The member of parliament who was in the headlines recently for aiding in her own impersonation following her surprise appearance in parliament when the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was in dire need of their members in the house, to approve the 2022 budget has failed to report to work despite being in the country for the past two weeks.
An ultimatum has now been reported to have to served to her person to address her continuous absenteeism from work to return to her post or be removed from office
Adwoa Safo was known to have gone on an extended leave of absence and during her absence, the minister of sanitation and water resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah stepped in for her. It was however thought that with her return from leave, she would return to her post while Cecilia Abena Dapaah also channels her energies to her own ministries but it would appear Adwoa Safo has no interest in going back to her ministry
