There Is Favouritism On Going At GFA – George Afriyie

Former vice president of the Ghana Football Association, George Afriyie has called out the top brass of the GFA for practicing what he has called, ‘scratch my back, I scratch your back’ and ignoring to pursue the collective good of the association.

George Afriyie, who is the President of Susubiribi Football Club went on to claim that the leadership of the Ghana Football Association is taking those at the lower echelon as ‘fools’, something he believes is unfortunate and misconceived as they are very much aware of all the happenings at the very top.

The former vice president of the Ghana Football Association made these revelations in an extensive interview with Joe Laka on Kesseben TV, expressing further his disappointment and dissatisfaction and that of others associated to the footballing body at how personal interest has now been put ahead of the collective interest of the Football Association.

He said he is not in support of the Football Association’s plan to restructure the division one league competition which will make the division one league an 18 club competition as he revealed that teams had not been consulted before the plan was tabled
