Don’t Take Brother Sammy Seriously, He Plays Too Much – Ernest Opoku

Ghanaian gospel singer, Ernest Opoku took what could best be described as a dig at colleague gospel singer and man of God, Brother Sammy, in a guest appearance on UTV’s united showbiz programme yesterday

In the course of the programme, show host Nana Ama Mcbrown asked Ernest Opoku to comment on Brother Sammy’s assertions that it was he who introduced him into the ministry as Brother Sammy is recorded to have said so on many platforms.

A visibly annoyed Ernest Opoku in making his comment did not pull back any punches as denied Brother Sammy ever introducing him into the gospel ministry, putting it on record that as a matter of fact he was already deep into the gospel ministry before Brother Sammy started his professional singing career.

He went on to label Brother Sammy as someone who speaks like a child and is overly playful for someone of his age and for that matter importance must not to attached to anything that comes running out of his mouth. Ouch!

The two gospel singers have been at loggerheads with each other for close to two years now. Their misunderstanding started with Brother Sammy labeling Ernest Opoku as being ungrateful and a bitter person, it therefore comes as no surprise the comment of Ernest Opoku towards Brother Sammy as the two are really not the best of friends
